Having your cake ...

It's looking good - rich, fruity, deep dark treacly brown, wrapped in greaseproof paper and armoured in silver foil; just waiting for a soft smooth covering of white marzipan... It waits, smelling spicy, maturing gently in my kitchen. Mmm, my daughter and son in law's wedding cake - I could eat some right now.
